According to NPR, “The Commerce Department says the economy expanded only 1.3 percent in the April-June period — its weakest pace since the recession ended. High gas prices and scant income gains forced Americans to sharply pull back on spending.” Is it really that high gas prices and scant income gains forced Americans to sharply pull back on spending, or is it that finally, FINALLY, our society is learning to live within its means? I’m hoping and striving for the latter.
I’m going to speak my mind about something I find incredible annoying.. Both Katy Perry and GaGa are amazing artists. Even though you might not like Katy’s music, I think you should respect her. She’s also a hard working lady in this music industry, just like GaGa. Don’t like her? Just leave her the fuck alone and move on. Don’t make fun of her, or whatever. Little Monsters are not made for making fun of other artists.
My respect for Lady Gaga just shot through the roof. Again, I thank God for her.
Any quote from Don Norman is legit.
The following five records have had the greatest impact on me over the last year:
- The Suburbs, Arcade Fire
- In Rainbows, Radiohead
- The Low End Theory, A Tribe Called Quest
- Flamingo, Brandon Flowers
- Born This Way, Lady Gaga
Just thought I’d share.
